The Adelaide Hills is renowned for many of Australia’s finest white varietals and the cool climate is an ideal environment for producing the Italian style Pinot Grigio.
Pinot Gris grapes from Lenswood and Lobethal were harvested in the cool of night to ensure extraction of the most vibrant fruit.
Light to pale in colour, with a hint of a green hue, this Pinot Grigio has bright and lifted aromatics of green pears, lemon blossom and a hint of musk. On the palate, the wine is light and crisp with a pleasing acid minerality.
Crisp, fresh and full flavoured, this Pinot Grigio is best enjoyed young. It is a great partner to Italian antipasti and fresh seafood dishes such as crayfish and scallops.
