Yields are kept extremely low to maximise flavour and tannin development.
The wine is deep coloured, purple, with red hues. A contemporary Shiraz, defined by cool climate characteristics. Opens with layers of brambly dark fruits intertwined with charcuterie, truffle and spice notes of vanilla, anise and pepper. A lovely hint of leather and cedar coming through with some bottle age. Powerful yet lively in character – the mid-palate shows layers of fleshy fruit, all framed by balanced acidity and classy, elegant tannins.
Matured in the finest French oak for over 20 months, this extremely limited wine will cellar exceptionally well and reward the discerning collector.
