2022 Bush Shiraz

BUSH Shiraz is an elegant and alluring expression of contemporary Australian Shiraz. A nod to the past using traditional techniques including wild fermentation and hand plunging combines with modern winemaking finesse.

Fruit for this cooler climate shiraz was selected from a diverse range of vineyards across the Adelaide region including the Mt Lofty Ranges, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Southern Fleurieu and Langhorne Creek.

All grape parcels were kept separate from harvesting through to final blending, with the wine characters distinctly different from each vineyard.
The 2022 Bush Shiraz spent approximately 16 months in French oak.

Deep, opaque purple-red hue with vibrant crimson edges, this wine exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum, complemented by notes of black pepper, violets

The palate is medium-bodied, yet richly textured. Flavours of raspberry and mulberry dominate, underscored by layers of dark chocolate and liquorice. 
Structurally, the wine exhibits firm yet fine-grained tannins, providing a robust framework that suggests good aging potential
