2021 MAC Shiraz

The Tribute Series represents the very pinnacle of Bird in Hand’s pursuit of excellence in winemaking. The rare wines show the incredible beauty and quality of which the terroir is capable, expressing a unique moment in time with elegance, power and finesse.

The MAC Shiraz was created from the exceptional 2021 vintage by selecting and blending only the finest barrels of Shiraz. The 2021 MAC Shiraz is comprised of 100% new French oak. Great care is used when selecting oak for wine of this quality and concentration.  

The result was a deep inky purple in the glass and a ruby rim red with richly expressive aromas, revealing ripe raspberries, blood plum, and sun-dried fig. Earthy notes of dried rose petal, clove, and wild sage weave through the fruit, while dark cocoa, toasted cedar, and a whisper of caramel from barrel maturation add depth and elegance.

This extremely limited wine will cellar exceptionally well and reward the patient and discerning collector up until 2040.
